The Central Statistics Office (CSO) have published an Editor’s Note regarding the rebasing of the Wholesale Price Index, which is used to calculate inflation in the OGP’s Price Variation Workbooks.
Under EU legislation, the CSO is required to conduct a rebase of the WPI series to 2021=100. Please note the rebase will now be applied to the September 2024 WPI release which will be published in October 2024. The rebase will need to be taken into account when calculating inflation for the operation of the Price Variation clauses and the Inflation/Supply Chain Delay Cooperation Framework Agreement for PW-CF 1-6.
