CSO Base Year amendments to CWMF Price Variation Workbooks and FAQ

The Central Statistics Office (CSO) recently rebased the indices used in the CWMF Price Variation Workbooks.

When filling out the Price Variation Workbooks, Contracting Authorities must ensure that all of the CSO data they enter has the correct Base Year. Data with differing Base Years cannot be combined. This will be Base : Year 2021 = 100 for the Wholesale Price Index and Base: Year 2023 = 100 for the Consumer Price Index. Continue reading

Change to minimum permitted tendered percentage addition to costs of labour

OGP have published changes to the Forms of Tender and Schedule.

Schedule Part 2 D – Adjustments to the Contract Sum including Delay Costs (Sub-clause 10.6 and 10.7) – of the Form of Tender and Schedule provides the opportunity for the contractor to tender a percentage addition for labour costs as defined by the applicable sectoral employment order made under the Industrial Relations Acts 1946-2015.
